Die Medienlandschaft befindet sich im Zuge von Digitalisierung, Künstlicher Intelligenz, Plattformökonomien und globaler Vernetzung in einem tiefgreifenden Wandel. Das Blockseminar setzt sich mit diesen Entwicklungen aus wissenschaftlicher und praktischer Perspektive auseinander und diskutiert ihre Konsequenzen für Forschung, Gesellschaft und Medienpraxis.
An drei Blocktagen kommen externe und interne Wissenschaftlerinnen sowie Praktikerinnen mit Studierenden ins Gespräch, um Perspektiven für die Weiterentwicklung des Masterstudiengangs Interdisziplinäre Medienwissenschaft im Sinne einer zukunftsorientierten Medienwissenschaft („MeWi2030+“) zu entwickeln. Das Seminar verbindet fachliche Reflexion mit der gemeinsamen Diskussion zukünftiger Studieninhalte und Qualifikationsprofile.
Planung, Entwicklung und Reflexion der drei Blocktage sind Bestandteil des Seminars.
