Eine „Methode“ bezeichnet den Weg, der Ihre Lernerinnen und Lerner zu einem von Ihnen geplanten Ziel bringen soll.
Dabei reicht die Spannbreite von lehrerzentriert bis offen. Unterrichtsmethoden tragen - richtig eingesetzt und ggf. geschickt kombiniert - nicht wenig zur Qualität des Unterrichts bei. Es ist wichtig, dass sich Lehrende nach und nach ein abwechslungsreiches Methodenrepertoire erarbeiten. Denn dieses ist eine wichtige Grundlage für einen guten und facettenreichen Unterricht.Im Seminar soll daher die Vermittlung methodischer Handlungskompetenz im Fokus stehen. Nach einer fachwissenschaftlichen Grundlegung werden verschiedene Methoden (Unterrichtsprinzipien und Unterrichtstechniken) vorgestellt, erprobt und reflektiert, sodass die Studierenden erstes “methodisches Handwerkszeug“ erwerben können.
