Im Zentrum des Seminars stehen 'die Medien'. In den einzelnen Seminarsitzungen werden Phänomene wie 'Medienmacht', 'Mediale Globalisierung', ‚Medienbesitz', 'Medienproduktion', 'Mediale Re-präsentation' sowie 'Medienpublikum' diskutiert und theoretisch vertieft.
Studierende, die das Seminar besuchen wollen, sollten bereit sein, die Texte zu den einzelnen Sitzungen zu lesen und sich aktiv an den Diskussionen zu beteiligen.
