Die Veranstaltung gibt einen Überblick über die Soziologie von Erving Goffman, einen Klassiker der Soziologie. Neben konkreten Untersuchungen und theoretischen Konzeptionen von Goffman werden in dem Seminar auch Anschlussforschungen zu Goffman behandelt wie Sozialordnungen am Straßenstrich, am Strand oder im Theater. Anforderungen: regelmäßige Teilnahme, Referat und Hausarbeit.
