Das Ziel der Veranstaltung besteht darin, die Inhalte des christlichen Glaubens kreativ zu durchdenken und in gegenwärtige Formte umzusetzen.
Neben Diskussionsformaten beinhaltet die Veranstaltung auch eigene praktische Versuche der Umsetzung: Wir erarbeiten Entwürfe für Kindergottesdienste. Wir analysieren (mit Hilfe von kurzen Texten) gründlich, was darin an Aussagen über Gott, die Menschen, die Versöhnung, Gerechtigkeit usw. zum Ausdruck kommt, und diskutieren, inwiefern das der jeweils eigenen Absicht entspricht. Die Kindergottesdienste werden in einer Bielfelder Gemeinde von den Teilnehmenden in kleinen Teams durchgeführt.
