Dieses Seminar macht Sie mit zentralen Fragen der Erkenntnistheorie vertraut: Was ist Erkenntnis; was ist Wissen? Was können wir erkennen? Gibt es Grenzen unserer Erkenntnis und wie können wir diese Grenzen erkennen? Wie können wir Wissen gewinnen, mittels Erfahrung, unserem Verstand, erfolgreichem Handeln oder durch Konstruktion? Wie können wir ausschließen, dass wir kein Gehirn im Tank oder in der Matrix sind? Wenn mir jemand etwas bezeugt, habe ich dann etwas erkannt? Wann ist eine Überzeugung wahr, wann ist sie gerechtfertigt?
Im Seminar werden wir diese und andere erkenntnistheoretische Fragen besprechen, indem wir klassische und aktuellere Texte der Erkenntnistheorie lesen und gemeinsam kritisch diskutieren.
