Ausgehend von theoretischen Perspektiven, die Leistung als zentralen Wert und handlungsleitendes Prinzip (spät)moderner Gesellschaften bestimmen, wird im Seminar die Bedeutung von Leistung im schulischen Raum diskutiert. Dabei sollen Vorstellungen von Leistung ebenso wie von Leistungsgerechtigkeit, die innerhalb von Schule wirksam werden, ausgeleuchtet werden. Vor diesem Hintergrund soll zum einen betrachtet werden, wie Leistung in der Schule gemessen und beurteilt wird sowie welche Instrumente dafür zur Verfügung stehen und zur Anwendung kommen. Dabei werden wir uns u.a. mit empirischen Studien auseinandersetzen, die die Praxis der Leistungsbewertung in sog. inklusiven Schulen und im individualisierten Unterricht untersuchen. Zum anderen soll aus ungleichheitstheoretischer Perspektive beleuchtet werden, an welche Voraussetzungen schulische Leistung und das Lernen in pädagogischen Räumen geknüpft ist. Daran anschließend werden wir uns mit ausgewählten Fragen zur Diagnose von Lernschwierigkeiten und zur Förderung bei Krisen des Lernens auseinandersetzen.
