Platons Dialog "Phaidon" gehört zu den klassischen Grundtexten der Philosophie des Geistes. In ihm entwirft Platon nicht nur seine Theorie der Seele. Vor allem entwickelt er dazu vier berühmte Argumente, die jeweils zeigen sollen, dass unsere Seele unsterblich ist.

Wir werden uns im Seminar im Detail mit Platons Text, seinen Ideen und Argumenten auseinandersetzen.

Die empfohlene Textausgabe ist die unten aufgeführte, von Barbara Zimmermann besorgte Ausgabe.

Termine
Seminare, die für den Philosophischen Einstieg geöffnet sind, beginnen für alle Studierenden s.t. Die gemeinsame Sitzung endet nach 90 Minuten. Es schließen sich unmittelbar weitere 30 Minuten ausschließlich für die Studierenden des Philosophischen Einstiegs (PhiE) an.
