Der Grundkurs soll einen Überblick über die praktische Philosophie vermitteln, wobei vor allem die Moralphilosophie, die politische Philosophie und die angewandte Ethik im Mittelpunkt stehen. Es werden sowohl klassische als auch zeitgenössische Texte vorgestellt.

Konkretisierung der Anforderungen
Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 5 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung ab WS 11/12) bzw. 4 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11) und Master of Education) ist eine mindestens mit „ausreichend“ bewertete Klausur. In der 90minütigen Klausur werden die im Grundkurs Praktische Philosophie vermittelten Kenntnisse abgefragt.
