Contents, comment

Die durch die wirtschaftliche Globalisierung vorangetriebene Gesellschaftsentwicklung setzt den europäischen Ansatz zur Lösung der sozialen Frage durch sozialstaatliche Maßnahmen sowie durch die Institutionalisierung von Staatsbürgerschaftsrechten unter Druck. Das Seminar befasst sich mit den Schlüsseltexten der Staatsbürgerschaftstheorie (u. a. von Thomas H. Marshall, Talcott Parsons, Ralf Dahrendorf, David Lockwood, Anthony Giddens, Michael Mann, Bryan S. Turner) sowie mit der aktuellen Debatte über den Wandel der Staatsbürgerschaf (u. a. von Colin Crouch, Thomas Faist, Steven Lukes, Steffen Mau, Peter Saunders, Heinz Steinert, Antje Wiener, Gabriele Wilde) auseinander.
