300127 Einführung in die Soziologie Pierre Bourdieus (S) (SoSe 2025)

Pierre Bourdieu zählt zu den wichtigsten und weltweit meistrezipierten Soziolog*innen der letzten siebzig Jahre. Seine Arbeiten zu Klassen und Klassifikationen, Feld und Habitus, Kunst und Kultur, symbolische Gewalt und Geschlecht haben eine Wirkung weit über das soziologische Fach hinaus erzielt und inspirieren nach wie vor auch die geistes- und sozialwissenschaftlichen Nachbardisziplinen. Insbesondere seine frühen Arbeiten zu Algerien sind zudem seit jüngerer Zeit Gegenstand einer neu entfachten werkgeschichtlichen Diskussion. Das Seminar bietet eine grundlegende Einführung in das Gesamtwerk und ist somit insbesondere auch für diejenigen geeignet, die bislang nur wenig oder gar keine Kenntnis davon haben.
