Anhand von Spielfilmen sollen die spezifischen Eigenschaften und Ausprägungsformen von Jugendkultu-ren/Jugendsubkulturen in der medialen Darstellung untersucht werden. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung wird eine kurze Einführung in die neoformalistische Filmanalyse nach Bordwell & Thompson erfolgen und es wird ein Fokus auf die Methodologie und das Entwickeln von filmspezifischen Methoden zur Analyse gelegt, die für un-terschiedliche Lern- und Bildungssettings umgesetzt werden können. Im ersten Teil des Seminars wird anhand von Texten und Beispielen die Methode erörtert, im weiteren Verlauf sollen gemeinsam und in Arbeitsgruppen detaillierte Filmanalysen von thematisch passenden Filmen erarbeitet werden.
