Es ist geplant, sowohl synchrone als auch asynchrone Anteile zu kombinieren (Zoom und LernraumPlus).

Sexuelle Inhalte in Mainstream-Videospielen sind selten, werden in der Regel aber rege in der Öffentlichkeit debattiert (z.B. Prostitution in GTA V oder die Debatte um Mirandas Gesäß in der Mass Effect Legendary Edition). Häufig bleibt die Diskussion dieser Phänomene allerdings ein Nischendiskurs und auf sehr spezifische Umstände beschränkt. Die in diesen Spielen gezeigten sexuellen Inhalte stellen für gewöhnlich auch nur ein Randphänomen dar und sind nicht integraler Bestandteil des Spiels

Anders sieht dies bei Adult Games aus. Hier spielen Sexualität und Pornografie eine zentrale Rolle, was es umso verblüffender erscheinen lässt, dass dieses Genre bislang weder gesellschaftlich noch akademisch in den Fokus genommen wurde. Im Rahmen des Seminars sollen daher, nach einer theoretischen Einführung, mehrere dieser Spiele analysiert werden. Das Hauptaugenmerk liegt dabei auf folgenden Aspekte:

- Geschlechterdarstellung
- Darstellung sexueller Konstellationen und Praktiken
- Einbindung pornografische Darstellungen in das Narrativ des Spiels
- Schnittstelle Mechanik, Darstellung, Narrativ
- Legalität und Jugendschutz

HINWEIS: Im Zuge des Seminars wird es nötig sein, sich im Detail mit einigen Spielen auseinanderzusetzen. Diese Spiele enthalten unter Umständen neben zahlreichen sexuellen Praktiken und Konstellationen auch Darstellungen von Belästigung, sexueller Nötigung, sexueller Gewalt u.ä.!
