Pädagogische Arbeit wird immer auch geprägt von normativen Horizonten, Zielsetzungen und damit Vorstellungen von dem, was sein soll. Selbst da und vielleicht gerade da, wo die Normativität des Pädagogischen nicht expliziert ist, ist sie wirksam. In der Veranstaltung wird das medial und politische vorherrschende Paradigma der Integration kritisch diskutiert. Die Kritik an dem Integrationsparadigma dient zweitens als Folie, um alternative normative Konzepte in der und für die Migrationsgesellschaft kennen zu lernen (Anerkennung , Menschenrechte) und auch diese auf ihre theoretischen und konzeptionellen Möglichkeiten und Schwächen zu befragen.
