Das Thema „Migration“ ist ein bedeutsames Thema der erziehungswissenschaftlichen Diskussion der letzten Jahre. Eine Vielzahl empirischer Untersuchungen sowie konzeptioneller, seltener theoretisierender Studien sind auf den Zusammenhang von Migration und Bildung gerichtet. Dabei wird im Rahmen der entsprechenden Debatten der Bildungsbegriff häufig nicht in einer theoretisch gehaltvollen Form expliziert. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung werden wir uns einerseits mit den wenigen explizit bildungstheoretisch gewendeten Ansätzen zur Untersuchung migrationsgesellschaftlicher Wirklichkeit auseinandersetzen und andererseits ausgewählte Bildungstheorien (insbesondere Kritische Bildungstheorie) diskutieren und migrationspädagogisch kommentieren.
