250311 Subjektivierung als analytisches Konzept (S) (SoSe 2019)

Contents, comment

Im Zuge gesellschaftlicher Individualisierungsschübe und -tendenzen sowie den damit zusammenhängenden vielfältigen Wahl- und Entfaltungsmöglichkeiten ist eine zunehmende Entgrenzung, Pluralisierung und Ausdifferenzierung der Lebensphase Jugend verbunden. Ein Mehr an Entscheidungs- und Lebensoptionen bedeutet zugleich auch die Notwendigkeit, sich zu entscheiden, sich zu positionieren und dem eigenen Leben Sinn zu verleihen. Dabei gehen wir im Seminar u.a. der Frage nach, welche Bedeutung gesellschaftliche Prozesse der Bildungsoptimierung und Möglichkeiten der Selbstmodellierung und -inszenierung für die Ausgestaltung von Jugend in der Gegenwart besitzt. Zugleich werden wir jugendliche Praktiken vor dem Hintergrund subjektivierungstheoretischer Perspektiven diskutieren.
Ziel des Seminars ist es die Ambivalenzen der gegnwärtigen Lebensphase Jugend auszuloten.
