Das Thema "Flucht/ Flüchtlinge" ist omipräsent.
In Fernsehen, Radio und Zeitung wird mehr oder weniger sachlich und emotional darüber berichtet und mit erschreckenden Bildern dokumentiert. Weltweit sind Kinder und Jugendliche gezwungen, ihr Heimatland zu verlassen.Auch Kinder in Deutschland werden mit dem Thema konfrontiert und haben viele Fragen aber auch Sorgen, die sie zum Teil aus ihren Elternhäusern mitbringen.
Was bedeutet dies für den evangelischen Religionsunterricht?
Im Rahmen einer sozialen Erziehung hat dieser die Aufgabe und Verpflichtung einer Werte-Bildung in christlichem Sinne.
Biblische Texte wie zum Beispiel der Aufruf des Jesaja "Gib den Flüchtlingen ein Versteck in deinem Land, liefere sie nicht dem Feind aus." (Jes 16,3) sind brandaktuell und bieten die Chance, eigene Sichtweisen zu reflektieren.Im Seminar sollen mit Hilfe diverser Kinder- und Jugendbücher zum Thema und der Verknüpfung mit biblischen Texten Bausteine für einen Unterricht entworfen werden, der
> über den Begriff und die Bedeutung von "Heimat" nachdenkt
> eine Auseinandersetzung mit Sorgen, Ängsten, Hoffnungen und Wünschen von Menschen ermöglicht
> eine Willkommenskultur etablieren möchte.
