Im Reigen der insgesamt fünf Kulturzentren des griechisch-römischen Kulturkreises bildete das antike Rom das dritte Kulturzentrum. Die Vorlesung beleuchtet auf dem Hintergrund der vorausgehenden und nachfolgenden Kulturzentren systematisch die verschiedenen Bereiche, in denen das antike Rom bzw. das römische Reich kulturell aktiv und für die Folgezeit auch in vielerlei Hinsicht vorbildlich oder doch von besonderer Bedeutung war.

Konkretisierung der Anforderungen
Im Rahmen der Vorlesung ist ein Stundenprotokoll anzufertigen.
