In der Vorlesung soll der Frage nachgegangen werden, ob und in welcher Weise Philosophie gesellschaftskritische Impulse liefern kann. Ausgehend von Linkshegelianern wie Marx und Bruno Bauer, die in ihren Frühschriften Philosophie geradezu als Gesellschaftskritik verstanden, wird ein Bogen zu späteren philosophischen Sozialkritikern geschlagen. Im zweiten Teil der Vorlesung sollen konkrete Problemfelder thematisiert werden, die sich aus heutiger Sicht für eine Gesellschaftskritik anbieten.
Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung können maximal 15 Hausarbeiten geschrieben werden.
