Die Abhandlung über die Prinzipien der menschlichen Erkenntnis (engl. A Treatise Concerning the Principles of Human Knowledge) ist das philosophische Hauptwerk George Berkeleys und einer der wichtigsten Texte des Britischen Empirismus. Berkeley entwickelt darin in systematischer Weise seine einflussreiche Ideentheorie und seine radikal idealistische Metaphysik. Im Seminar werden wir die Argumente Berkeleys anhand des englischen Originaltexts sorgfältig rekonstruieren und einer kritischen Prüfung unterziehen. Zusätzlich sollen ausgewählte Texte aus der Sekundärliteratur diskutiert werden.

An diesem Seminar können insgesamt maximal 10 Bachelor- und Master of Education-Studierende teilnehmen. Für alle Studierenden, die regulär im fachw. Master Philosophie eingeschrieben sind, gilt keine Teilnehmerbegrenzung.
Diese Veranstaltung ist konzipiert für Masterstudierende im Fach Philosophie. Bachelor-Studierende der Philosophie oder andere Studierende können nur teilnehmen, wenn sie das Anmeldeverfahren durchlaufen und eine Zusage des Dozierenden bekommen haben. Zur Anmeldung senden Sie der Veranstalterin/dem Veranstalter eine E-Mail mit Angabe Ihres Namens, des Fachsemesters in dem Sie sein werden und mit einer Begründung, warum Sie an diesem Seminar teilnehmen wollen. Sie erhalten rechtzeitig Bescheid, ob Sie an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen dürfen.

Im Masterstudiengang erfolgt der Erwerb von Leistungspunkten ausschließlich auf Modulebene.
Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 2 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11 und Master of Education) ist die regelmäßige Teilnahme sowie das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern für das Modulportfolio, auf dem die unbenotete Moduleinzelleistung beruht. Die Anforderungen für den Modulportfolio-Beitrag werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben. Als Modulabschluss kann eine Hausarbeit geschrieben werden. Achtung: Beachten Sie die Regelungen zur Anmeldung!
