In dem Seminar setzen wir uns mit der Stadt als Lernort auseinander; u.a. durch "Streifzüge" („Learning Journey") und "Kartierungen" des urbanen Lernens. Die Frage nach der lernförderlichen Gestaltung der Stadt der Zukunft bildet der Ausgangspunkt.

Im Mittelpunkt stehen Exkursionen zu unterschiedlichen Bildungsorten in der Stadt: diese reichen von etablierten Kultureinrichtungen (Bibliotheken, Museen, etc.) über Bereiche des zivilgesellschaftlichen Engagements (Vereine) bis hin zu urbanen Räumen des "Selbermachens" (Urban Gardening) oder künstlerischen Interventionen (Streetart).
