Kinder kommen nicht als unbeschriebene Blätter in die Grundschule, sondern verfügen bereits über Vorstellungen, oder auch: Präkonzepte, zu politischen Themen. In diesem Seminar werden wir uns mit den Präkonzepten von Schüler:innen zum Thema Demokratie beschäftigen. Im Laufe des Semesters werden wir klären, was Demokratie ist, was über Präkonzepte und ihre Rolle bei der Unterrichtsplanung bekannt ist und wie man sie erfassen kann. Zudem werden wir Lehrmaterialien zum Thema Demokratie daraufhin untersuchen, inwieweit es ihnen gelingt, effektiv an Präkonzepte von Schüler:innen anzuknüpfen.
