230346 Poética del relato breve. Kurzgeschichten von Roberto Bolaño (S) (SoSe 2017)

Roberto Bolaño wurde ich in den vergangenen 15 Jahren insbesondere durch sein Romanwerk, "Los detectives salvajes", seine "novelas cortas" ("Nocturno de Chile", "Estrella distante") sowie das epochale "2666" in den Amerikas, Europa und weltweit berühmt. Das Seminar richtet das Interesse in erster Linie auf Bolaños Kurzgeschichten. Mit der Frage nach einer "poética" ("del relato breve") des Autors werden wir ausgewählte Erzählungen aller Veröffentlichungen sichten. Narratologisch ausgereichtet, bietet das Seminar die Möglichkeit das "relato breve" in größere Zusammenhänge literaturwissenschaftlicher Fragen einzuordnen und erzähltheoretische Ansätze zu erproben und einzuüben.
Es werden Texte aus "La literatura nazi en America", "Putas asesinas", "Llamadas telefónicas" und "El gaucho insufrible" auch digitalisiert bereitgestellt. Hinzugezogen werden poetologische und kritische Schriften sowohl von Bolaño als auch der "crítica".
Lektürekenntnisse des Spanischen sind ausdrücklich wünschenwert und von Vorteil, jedoch keine Teilnahmevoraussetzung, da die Veranstaltung auch für BA-Studierende der Literaturwissenschaft geöffnet ist. Alle Teilnehmer_Innen sind eingeladen die Texte im Spanischen zu lesen. Übersetzungen der Erzählungen liegen jedoch vor.

Voraussetzung zur Vergabe von Leistungspunkten ist eine regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme, zu der auch die Übernahme eines Referates oder eines Protokolls gehört. Zusätzlich besteht die Möglichkeit, eine Hausarbeit (modulbezogene benotete Einzelleistung) zu schreiben.
