Die Vorlesung führt ein in zentrale Themen der Pädagogischen-Psychologie und soll Studierenden eine Orientierungshilfe für inhaltliche Schwerpunktsetzungen in Studium und Beruf geben. Behandelt wird der Stand der Forschung insbesondere in folgenden Bereichen: Lernen, Lehren, Motivieren, Interagieren, Diagnostizieren, Evaluieren, Intervenieren.

Die Anwesenheit in der ersten Sitzung ist unbedingt erforderlich. In der ersten Sitzung werden der organisatorische Ablauf sowie die Anforderungen an die Leistungserbringung abschließend besprochen.

Erwartet wird eine regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme.Im Hauptfach werden die Leistungspunkte im Modul N.1 durch das Bestehen der Modulklausur im Sommersemester erbracht und entsprechend erst dann verbucht.
Im Nebenfach ist für den Nachweis einer benoteten oder unbenoteten Einzelleistung (im Modul PÄD, PSY4, oder PÄ.1) ein Essay zu schreiben, in dem ausgewählte Inhalte der VL auf persönliche bzw. berufliche Lehr-Lern-Erfahrungen (die z.B. im Rahmen von Praktika oder Nachhilfeangeboten gewonnen wurden) angewendet werden.
Dabei genügt für 3 LP die Behandlung eines theoretischen Ansatzes (z.B. ein Motivationsmodell), für 4 LP ist ein ganzes Thema (z.B. Lernstrategien) in den Blick zu nehmen.
Leistungsvergabe erfolgt gemäß Modulschlüssel sowie den fächerspezifischen Bestimmungen für den Bachelor-/Masterstudiengang Psychologie.
