Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit der aktuellen Teen-Serie "Girl meets World" des Disney Channels. Die Teenagerin Riley durchlebt in ihrer Familie und gemeinsam mit ihrer besten Freundin Maya und ihren Freunden Farkle und Lucas viele Themen der Jugendphase (Ablösung vom Elternhaus, Mobbing, Geschlechterrollen, Identitätsbildung, Freundschaft etc.). Wir schauen uns stellvertretend Folgen der Serie an und analysieren und diskutieren diese auf erziehungswissenschaftliche Themen hin.

Da die Serie in der Originalsprache Englisch ohne Untertitel gesehen wird, sind entsprechende Englischkenntnisse Voraussetzung für das Seminar.
