250101 Kinderfilme von Format: Qualität im Spielfilm, Kurzfilm und Dokumentarfilm (BS) (WiSe 2015/2016)

In diesem Seminar sollen Kinderfilme von hoher Qualität behandelt werden, die einem Mainstream-Publikum selten bekannt sind. Dabei werden sowohl Spielfilme als auch Kurz- und Dokumentarfilme für Kinder gemeinsam betrachtet und im Hinblick auf ihre inhaltliche und ästhetische Bildungsrelevanz analysiert. Die Spielfilme zählen zu den prämierten Gewinnern des „ European Film Academy Young Audience Award“ sowie weiteren internationalen Kinderfilmwettbewerben. Die Kurzfilme stammen vorwiegend aus dem Programm der Oberhausener Kurzfilmtage, eines der weltweit renommiertesten Festivals in diesem Sektor. Das Genre des Kinderdokumentarfilms hat einen schweren Stand, was sicher nicht an seiner Qualität liegt. Auch diese kaum beachtete Sparte wird beleuchtet.
Wir möchten mit dieser Spartenschau Studierenden einen Ausbau ihres Repertoires für den Einsatz in unterschiedlichen pädagogischen Settings ermöglichen.
