Im Seminar sollen neuere Texte zu drei aktuellen Diskussionen der Wissenschaftstheorie gelesen und diskutiert werden. Das Ziel ist, auf einem fortgeschrittenen Level einen Einblick in die Vielfalt wissenschaftsphilosophischer Probleme im Rahmen eines Seminars zu erhalten. Die Texte gruppieren sich um folgende Problemkreise: Rationaler Dissens und "Peer Disagreement"; Begründung und Praxis statistischer Tests; neuere Arbeiten zu Vorhersagen und zum wissenschaftlichen Realismus.
