Der Kurs ist eng mit dem gleichnamigen Seminar gekoppelt und soll durch vertiefemnde Lektüre einschlägiger antiker und und frühneuzeitlicher Texte die Zusammenhänge der Antikenrezeption im Rahmen der frühneuzeitlichen Entdeckungsfahrten klären. Alle Texte werden auf Deutsch vorgelegt.
