Das Johannesevangelium nimmt unter den vier neutestamentlichen Evangelien eine besondere Stellung ein: Es weist an vielen Stellen eine deutliche Nähe zu den drei anderen Evangelien auf, es unterscheidet sich aber in der Gesamtanlage sowohl in literarischer als auch in theologischer Hinsicht erheblich von ihnen. In dem Seminar soll zunächst ein Gesamtüberblick über das Johannesevangelium gewonnen werden. Dann sollen einige Textabschnitte gelesen und interpretiert werden, in denen die zentralen Inhalte der Theologie dieses Evangeliums zu erkennen sind.
