Die Veranstaltung verschafft einen Einblick in verschiedene Anwendungsgebiete wie Dokumentar-, Werbe-, Mode- oder konzeptionelle Fotografie und führt in das selbstständige projektbezogene Arbeiten mit dem Medium Fotografie ein.
Nach der Einführung in die Kameratechnik erforschen die Studierenden fotografische Möglichkeiten und die Wirkung des Zusammenspiels von Blende, Licht und Verschlusszeit. Im weiteren bearbeiten sie die Bilder am Computer. Künstlerische Positionen in der Fotografie werden besprochen und Potenziale für pädagogische Kontexte diskutiert.
Die Veranstaltung entsteht durch Input meinerseits, Referate zu genannten Künstler Ihrerseits und gemeinsamer Diskussion der entstehenden Arbeiten. Ziel ist es, innerhalb des Semesters eine fotografische Bildserie präsentationsfertig zu entwickeln.
