300130 Sprachpragmatik und Spieltheorie (S) (WiSe 2025/2026)

Der Sache nach wird es in dieser Veranstaltung um die spieltheoretische Rekonstruktion oder wenigstens doch Problematisierung einiger zum Teil gut abgehangener, aber von den zeitgenössischen Sozial- und Kulturwissenschaften vernachlässigter oder gar vergessener Konzepte der Rhetorik gehen. Wir werden uns also vor allem auf die primär sprachlichen Bordmittel der Interaktion konzentrieren, wenngleich in einigen Sitzungen des Seminars auch Exkurse in die Welt komplexerer institutioneller Arrangements wagen werden sollen. Mit Blick auf die akademische Arbeitsteilung könnte man auch sagen, dass sich diese Veranstaltung explorativ der spärlich besetzten Schnittmenge von Sprachpragmatik und Spieltheorie widmen wird. Kultursoziologen mögen das für eine Donquichotterie halten; hier soll es unter dem Titel Grundlagenforschung firmieren.

Requirements for participation, required level

Eine gewisse Verbissenheit auch komplex wirkende und kleinkarriert anmutende Argumente verstehen zu wollen dürfte für den erfolgreichen Besuch des Seminars hilfreich sein.

Eines der besten Bücher zum Thema ist die Aufsatzsammlung von Ariel Rubinstein, Economics and Language, die Sie gratis von seiner webseite herunter laden können.
