Was haben, Experimentalsysteme, Modellorganismen. Denkkollektive oder Paradigmenwechsel gemeinsam?
Es handelt sich bei ihnen um zentrale Konzepte und Metaphern der wissenschaftshistorischen Forschung, die auch in anderen (nicht nur angrenzenden) Disziplinen Bedeutung erlangen konnten und deren Kenntnis im Umgang mit der Geschichte der Wissenschaften unerlässlich ist.
Im Seminar „Klassiker der Wissenschaftsgeschichte“ wollen wir diesen Konzepten und Metaphern nachspüren. Hierzu lesen wir vor allem Originaltexte, beispielweise von Hans-Jörg Rheinberger, Gaston Bachelard, Georges Canguilhem, Thomas Kuhn, Michel Foucault oder Steven Shapin. Zugleich fragen wir auch nach den kulturellen und ideengeschichtlichen Hintergründen vor denen diese Akteure ihre Perspektiven auf die Geschichte der Wissenschaften formulierten.

Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 2 Leistungspunkten (Bachelor Einschreibung bis SoSe 11 und Master of Education) ist die regelmäßige Teilnahme sowie das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern für das Modulportfolio, auf dem die unbenotete Moduleinzelleistung beruht. Die Anforderungen für den Modulportfolio-Beitrag werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben.

Voraussetzung für die Vergabe von 3 Leistungspunkten (Einschreibung ab WS 11/12) ist das Erbringen des schriftlichen oder mündlichen Beitrags im Umfang von maximal 1200 Wörtern bzw. 10-20 Minuten. Die genauen Anforderungen werden zu Veranstaltungsbeginn bekannt gegeben.
