361032 Freikirchen in Deutschland in Geschichte und Gegenwart (S) (WiSe 2005/2006)

Im Gegensatz zu den USA erfahren die Freikirchen in Deutschland oft nur eine geringe öffentliche Wahrnehmung. Oftmals geraten sie zudem durch besondere Ereignisse (z.B. Schulboykott baptistischer Eltern) in die Nähe von Sekten. Ziel dieser Veranstaltung soll es deshalb sein, Freikirchen kennen zu lernen. Zuerst sollen ihre Merkmale erarbeitet werden (Was sind überhaupt Freikirchen?) Danach werden einzelne Freikirchen (Baptisten, Methodisten, Pfingstbewegung usw.) vorgestellt. Weitere Schwerpunkte werden die Zusammenarbeit der Freikirchen untereinander und ihre ökumenischen Beziehungen darstellen. Abschließend soll der gesellschaftliche Einfluss der Freikirchen untersucht werden. Am Ende der Veranstaltung soll auch die Frage der unterrichtlichen Umsetzung reflektiert werden.
Hinsichtlich einer erfolgreichen Teilnahme werden sowohl eine Vor- und Nachbereitung als auch die Übernahme von Referaten erwartet.
