Descartes´ „Meditationen“ werden meist in der Erkenntnistheorie, der Metaphysik und der Philosophie des Geistes behandelt – der Verfasser sah in ihnen aber auch eine religionsphilosophische Schrift, in der die Existenz Gottes und die Unabhängigkeit der Seele vom Körper nachgewiesen werden sollten. Im Seminar sollen die „Meditationen“ aus verschiedenen Perspektiven besprochen und kritisch diskutiert werden.

Im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltung können maximal 15 Hausarbeiten geschrieben werden.
