Neben einem Überblick über die Entwicklung der Rassismusforschung befassen wir uns im Seminar intensiver mit ausgesuchten empirischen Studien, nicht zuletzt der erziehungswissenschaftlichen Rassismusforschung (mit Bezug auf Schule, Soziale Arbeit, Erwachsenenbildung). Die Konzipierung, Durchführung, Auswertung und Reflexion einer eigenen („workloadgerechten“) empirischen Mini-Studie (beispielsweise: Schulbuch- oder Romananalyse; kleine Diskursanalyse politischer Reden; Analyse der Migrations- und Fluchtpolitik) steht im Mittelpunkt des Seminars.
