Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit Phänomenen von Hackerkultur und weiteren netzkulturellen Gruppierungen sowie deren medialer Darstellung. Dabei wollen wir uns einen Überblick über historische und gegenwärtige Entwicklungen verschaffen und insbesondere herausfinden, ob man überhaupt von der einen Netzkultur spre-chen kann. Neben grundlegenden Texten werden auch Inszenierungen von Hacker- und Netzkultur in Film, Computerspiel und anderen Unterhaltungsmedien Gegenstand sein, wobei deren (möglicher) pädagogischer und bildungsrelevanter Einfluss im Fokus steht und bildungs- oder lerntheoretisch gerahmt wird.
