Qualitativ hochwertige Daten sind für statistische Analysen von entscheidender Bedeutung. Um eine entsprechende Datenqualität zu gewährleisten, müssen Untersuchungen und Experimente von Beginn an ausreichend geplant werden. So können mögliche Fehlerquellen während der Umsetzung im Vorhinein identifiziert und umgangen werden. Dazu gehört auch eine geeignete Methodenwahl zur Stichprobenerhebung, die für den Informationsgewinn aus Daten grundlegend ist.
Die Veranstaltung gibt einen generellen Überblick über verschiedene Arten der Datenerhebung, veranschaulicht die Konzepte an konkreten Anwendungsbeispielen und schärft das Verständnis für die statistische Versuchsplanung.
