Inhalt und Lernziel:
Künstlerarbeitsmärkte gelten als Vorreiter der Arbeitsgesellschaft. Das Seminar beleuchtet neben dieser Frage die Grundstrukturen der Arbeits- und Sozialverhältnisse der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft. Im Kern werden wir uns mit den Eigenarten der Erwerbs- und Soziallage von Künstler:innen und Kreativen befassen. Hierzu gehören Merkmale wie etwa ein überdurchschnittlicher Anteil an selbständiger, zunehmend auch hybrider (Projekt-)Arbeit, stark ausgeprägten Segregationsmustern – die Arbeitsmärkte von Künstler:innen folgen einer Superstarlogik mit scharfen, geschlechtsspezifischen Ungleichheiten. Diese wiederum werden konterkariert von egalitätsorientierten Einstellungen wie z.B. reproduktionsorientierten Männlichkeitskonzepten. Weitere Stichworte des Seminars sind u.a. Projektarbeit, Prekarisierung, Künstler- und Sozialkritik, hybride Arbeit uvm.
