„I want you to panic like the house is on fire!” Mit diesen Worten fordert Klima-Aktivistin Greta Thunberg Politiker*Innen auf, endlich etwas gegen die Klimakrise zu tun. Dabei bringt sie die Zahl 413ppm in Spiel, welche die Anzahl von CO2 Molekülen in der Atmosphäre beschreibt. Die wie genau wird diese Größe berechnet? Und ab welchem Wert droht sich das Klima unumkehrbar zu verändern, mit tödlichen Konsequenzen für Mensch und Umwelt? Und was müssen wir als Gesellschaft und als Individuen tun, um die weitere Emission von klimaschädlichen Gasen zu stoppen? Im Seminar wollen wir diese andere wissenschaftsphilosophische und gesellschaftliche Fragen zu Klimaforschung und Klimakrise anhand einführender Texte zum Thema diskutieren.
