Aus der Perspektive dekolonialer Theorie stellt die globale Machtexpansion Europas ab Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts sich nicht nur auf politischer und ökonomischer Ebene dar, sondern betrifft nicht zuletzt auch Fragen von Wissensordnungen, epistemischen Ansprüchen sowie Selbst- und Weltbildern. Ausgewählte Texte der dekolonialen Theorie werden in diesem Seminar intensiv gelesen, ihre Analyseperspektiven und Ergebnisse kritisch besprochen und auf ihren Beitrag zu einer angemessen pädagogischen Orientierung, also mit Blick auf Lern- und Bildungsverhältnisse diskutiert.“
