Neben allgemeinen sprachlichen Kompetenzen, sind zentrale Faktoren für den Erfolg im Mathematikunterricht Lese- und Verstehensfähigkeiten. Das Ziel des Seminars ist es Grundlagen der Bedeutung von sprachlichen Verstehenshürden in Mathematikunterricht darzustellen, Diagnosemöglichkeiten von Lese- und Verstehenshürden zu behandeln, Methoden zur Förderung von Lese- und Verstehensfähigkeiten kennenzulernen und lexikalische Lernziele für Lese- und Verstehensprozesse zu formulieren

Hinweis: Das Seminar weist inhaltliche Überschneidungen zum Seminar „Sprache zählt - Sprache und Mathematiklernen in der Grundschule“ von Lara Müller auf. Deshalb wird empfohlen, nicht beide Seminare zu belegen.
