220079 Niederadel in der Region (S) (WiSe 2020/2021)

In diesem Seminar wird es um die gesellschaftliche Rolle sowie um die Handlungsspielräume und -strategien des Niederen Adels vom 13.-16. Jahrhundert vor allem im Raum Westfalen gehen. Nach einer Einführung in grundlegende Forschungsperspektiven werden wir das Thema unter verschiedenen Aspekten anhand von Literatur und Quellen genauer in den Blick nehmen (Ökonomie, Politik, Religion, Heiratsverhalten, Kunst etc.). Im letzten Viertel des Seminars wird die gemeinsame Diskussion von Hausarbeitskonzepten eine wichtige Rolle spielen. Aller Wahrscheinlichkeit nach wird das Wintersemester ja ebenfalls weitgehend virtuell stattfinden. Das Seminar wird deshalb durch Arbeitspakete mit freiwilligen und verpflichtenden Aufgaben, regelmäßige Zoom-Sitzungen (ca. alle 3 Wochen) und individueller Beratung per E-Mail und Zoom strukturiert sein.
