220078 Frömmigkeit in vormodernen Gesellschaften (Ü) (SoSe 2020)

Contents, comment

Frömmigkeit hat in vormodernen Gesellschaften Europas eine größere Rolle gespielt als in unserer Gegenwart. Anders als viele Darstellungen zum Thema will das Seminar allerdings nicht nur religiöse und fromme Praktiken der Gläubigen untersuchen, sondern auch gesellschaftliche, soziale und kulturelle "Kosten" der vormodernen Frömmigkeit thematiseren. Damit werden auch Formen der religiös begründeten Stigmatisierung und Ausgrenzung behandelt werden.
