301133 Die Politik der Regulierung (S) (WiSe 2019/2020)

Mit den neuesten Skandalen in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland verbindet sich ein Ruf nach regulativer Politik, die die Abgaswerte der Dieselfahrzeuge eng fasst, die Ausschweifungen der Banken begrenzt und Gefahren des Klimawandels kon-trollierbar macht. In anderen Worten, der Staat solle zum Wohle der Umwelt und der Gesundheit der Verbraucher striktere Grenzwerte setzen und deren Einhal-tung strenger kontrollieren. Nachdem wir ein grundlegendes Verständnis von den Möglichkeiten und Grenzen regulativer Politik erarbeitet haben, nimmt dieses Seminar Regulierungsinstitutionen-, regime, und -strategien vergleichend in den Blick und ergründet systematisch, wie unterschiedlich Staaten regulativ steuern.

Dieses Seminar vermittelt erst einen Überblick über die aktuelle Literatur zur regulativen Politik und beschäftigt sich mit einem vergleichenden Blick auf Regu-lierungsregime.
