Das Seminar behandelt die Konzepte, Ziele und Entwicklungen der nationalsozialistischen Wirtschaftspolitik.
Im Zentrum stehen die Analyse der Aufrüstungskonjunktur, die wirtschaftlichen Kriegsvorbereitungen (Stichwort: Kriegswirtschaft im Frieden) und die Entwicklung der Kriegswirtschaft. In diesem Rahmen wird unzer anderem die Frage untersucht, ob es sich beim Wirtschaftswachstum seit 1933 um ein deformiertes Wachstum handelte.Im Zusammenhang mit der wirtschaftlichen Kriegsvorbereitung werden die Ziele und Mittel der Wirtschaftspolitik (Marktwirtschaft oder gelenkte Wirtschaft) und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Einkommensentwicklung, den Lebensstandard und die Konsummöglichkeiten analysiert.

- Beteiligung an einer Referatsgruppe (Länge des Referats: je Referatsgruppe 30 Minuten)
- schriftliche Hausarbeit von ca. 20 Seiten Umfang
Es empfiehlt sich, das Referatsthema zur Hausarbeit auszubauen.
