220013 Geschichte der Sexualität in den USA (S) (WiSe 2017/2018)

Sexualität hat eine Geschichte! Der Frage nachgehend, wie Sexualität sozial und kulturell konstruiert wurde, .u.a. anhand von ‚race, class & gender‘ Strukturen, und wie sich Vorstellungen über Sexualität, sexuelle Normen, Gesetze und Identitäten im Laufe der Zeit verändert haben, beschäftigt sich das Seminar mit der Geschichte der Sexualität in den USA im 20. Jahrhundert. Das Seminar bildet mit der Historischen Orientierung „Alles nur Diskurs? Theorie und Praxis der Diskursanalyse“ (Nr. 220041) ein Modul. Regelmäßige und aktive Teilnahme werden erwartet und die Bereitschaft, umfangreiche englischsprachige Texte zu lesen, wird vorausgesetzt.
