220292 Das Haar im Spiegel der Globalgeschichte und der aktuellen kulturhistorischen Forschung (K) (SoSe 2025)

In dieser Veranstaltung werden die im Masterseminar besprochenen Sachverhalte in einen breiteren historischen und kulturellen Zusammenhang eingeordnet. Dabei wollen wir versuchen, historische Entwicklungen des Haargebrauchs von der Antike bis in die Moderne freizulegen sowie auffällige Parallelen und Unterschiede im Vergleich zu anderen Religionskulturen aus Geschichte und Gegenwart (Islam, Hinduismus, Schamanismus etc.) kenntlich zu machen.
Ergänzend werden wir unsere Ergebnisse mit aktuellen Forschungen u. a. zu den (auch über Haarhandlungen adressierten) Dimensionen von Ethnie, Mode, Recht, Gender oder Religiosität und Magie) analytisch in Beziehung setzen.
