250373 Radikalisierungsdynamiken im Vergleich (BS) (WiSe 2016/2017)

Das Seminar widmet sich dem gesellschaftlichen Phänomen und aktuellen Problem der Radikalisierung im Bereich des politischen, religiösen und sozialen Extremismus. Die Teilnehmenden werden im Rahmen dieses Seminars angeleitet, individuell oder in Gruppen eigenständig an einem Forschungsprojekt zu arbeiten. Im ersten Teil des Seminars wird ein Überblick über die zentralen Theorien und empirischen Studien der Radikalisierungsforschung gegeben. Im zweiten Teil erfolgt auf Grundlage fiktiver Fälle das Aufstellen überprüfbarer Hypothesen, die Formulierung geeigneter Fragen sowie die Auswertung und Interpretation der Daten. Die vom Einzelnen oder in Projektgruppen präsentierten Forschungserkenntnisse werden abschließend zur Diskussion gestellt.

Vertiefende Kenntnisse in den qualitativen sowie Grundlagen der quantitativen Methoden.

Literatur wird im Vorfeld zur Verfügung gestellt.
