In diesem Seminar hast Du die Gelegenheit virtuelle Welten kooperativ zu erkunden und darin gemeinsam darin zu arbeiten und zu entwickeln. Du arbeitest dabei mit VR-Brillen auf einer virtuellen Plattform.
Um diese Erkundungen virtueller Welten zugleich auch systematisch beforschen zu können, werden im Seminar auch einige Grundlagen qualitativer Medienforschungsmethoden vorgestellt, die die Grundlage für den Forschungsprozess bilden.
Welche unterschiedlichen Möglichkeiten der Interaktion gibt es in virtuellen Welten und wie werden sie genutzt? Wie entwickeln sich individuelle virtuelle Arbeitsprozesse und Lernkurven? Welche Strategien entwickeln Cybernauten in virtuellen Welten, um kollaborativ Projekte zu entwickeln? Diesen Frage wollen wir in diesem Seminar in verschiedenen Szenarien ethnographpisch und/oder autoethnographisch erforschen.Die Veranstaltung wird in Kooperation und mit Unterstützung des Projektes "BiLinked" und der Community of Practice "Public Humanities" durchgeführt. Ziel ist es, Studierende sowohl in die Analyse digitaler Medien als auch in die Praxis ihrer Erstellung einzuführen. Das Projekt möchte damit den Erwerb digitaler Kompetenzen innerhalb der geisteswissenschaftlichen Ausbildung fördern.
