Die Vorlesung führt in die Grundzüge des politischen Systems der Bundesrepublik Deutschland unter den Bedingungen der Europäisierung ein. Themen sind u.a.: Föderalismus, politische Parteien, politische Beteiligung und der Wandel durch die Europäische Integration (inkl. eines Überblicks über das politische System der EU).
Von den Studierenden wird erwartet, dass sie zu den jeweiligen Sitzungen die entsprechenden Kapitel aus Schmidt 2011, Hesse/Ellwein 2012 und Sack 2013 zur Vorbereitung lesen.
